Yes, if you did not know it already, it is fake. If you thought it was real, I am happy you did. Arvid Niklasson contacted me and said that he had a good idea for the movie. Arvid is a Visual Effects artist / 3d genius and probably has a many more fancy titles. He wanted to make a some fake shots for the movie so I sent him footage that he could play around with, I did not really know what to expect but when I got the file back I was blown away. He just sent me this which I thought was really interesting. So much time goes into this. Making of Actionhorse’s “Ponytale” (VFX Shot) from Arvid Niklasson on Vimeo. Thanks Arvid!(We were supposed to do more stuff like this but time ran out)

The season is kind of done. We have been chilling in sweden and not filming much lately.
We are filming in Norway at this place called Folgefonna at the moment. Summer riding! More about this later.
Now you should go and read an interview with Jakob made by our friends over at Snowboard Revolution.
Here is a little clip of Jake from Big Bear.
It has been snowing sooo much in Utah. We went riding at Brighton and it was crazy. When we hit cliffs we almost drowned in the snow since we forgot our snorkel at home. This resort is so amazing on good days.
106 Inches in 6 days (2.7 meters)

Stian Solberg in a mellow hike.

The day after we got some sunshine so we went up to the gulch again to hit 2 jumps. We all got some really good shots in the bag and it was really nice to see the sun.

After the bluebird day it started snowing again. Took the sleds up to a area with a lot of sweet pillows. We played around for an afternoon in the deep snow, got stuck with sleds, eat swedish candy and jibbed around in the parking lot.
Hampus, Knut and Stian checking out the pillows.
Stian, spray.
Got this nice photo of the Horse from our photographer friend Neil “Neir” Dacosta. Thanks Neir!
Filmer, Being rude.

Knut is a funny guy. He is half norwegian half american. So he talks funny. And acts funny. His interests are fireworks, pizza bagels and trying to be smarter then other people.

It has been dumping the last week in the Salt Lake City area. So much snow. We took a short trip to Las Vegas for the S.I.A. trade show during the bad weather days which was really fun and productive.
Met up with a lot of friends and planned the season a little. We where gone for 36 hours and went straight up to the Grizzly Gulch when we got home.
After a relatively short hike we got up to the jump spot. Knut Eliassen was getting really sick at this time. Poor guy, can believe he made it up there and that he hiked the jump 15 times. I thought he was going to die. CLICK FOR VIDEO
Knut
We built a fun step down jump and had a fun session.
Jakob, sideways.
Sorry for the lack of posts. The reason is that we have been busy here in the states and that we have been sick. America is really nice. Great Mexican food, sushi and good company. The snow is also super good and it has been dumping very hard the last couple of days.
We have been trying to find new sleds in the Salt Lake City area and that has been going ok. No deals done yet though. Soon, soon…
Jakob and Hampus testing

We went up to Brighton today. Bluebird and fresh pow. Awesome.

Knut Eliassen and Jakob Wilhelmson shreddin some pow.

We will announce some new riders soon! Stay tuned.
Eiki and Halldor has been to town twice the last month. Our main rail for both trips has been the legendary 37 stepper. Every time we show up to it there is 3 giant dumpsters in the way. So lame. So today when we didn’t have a spot in mind I went over to the rail to check if the dumpsters were gone.. No… Hmm, I call up a friend who wants to be anonymous. Lets call him Martin. I ask him if he thinks its possible to move a dumpster with tons of crap in it with a car? - Yes! I had already given up when he showed up with a little rope and his car. BUT. My dear friend Martin moved that dumpster. Awesome.

Super stoked that this worked out because we got some really banger shots today. A lot of people have been hitting this rail before and almost all trick has been done (front board, sw frontboard, bs lip, sw bs lip, cab 270, bs 180 sw 5050, different presses etc) . Its really hard to come up with new tricks now but today we stepped it up a notch again, maybe even two!
