USA

Sorry for the lack of posts. The reason is that we have been busy here in the states and that we have been sick.  America is really nice. Great Mexican food, sushi and good company.  The snow is also super good and it has been dumping very hard the last couple of days.

We have been trying to find new sleds in the Salt Lake City area and that has been going ok. No deals done yet though. Soon, soon…

We will announce some new riders soon! Stay tuned.

Scandinavia is done.

Our filming mission in Scandinavia is done. We got a lot of bangers. Actionhorse Films will move over to the states tomorrow where we will be filming more backcountry and park.

Me and Eiki and Halldór went on a scoaping misson yesterday a couple hours out of town. Drove around for a couple of hours. Found a wooden 52 stepper, have to go back there another time…

p1030573.jpg

We found a sweet down wooden rail with a drop at 11pm, had to do some major modifications to it so we started hitting it at 2am, then we had big problems with electricity so the session stopped a couple of times due to no power. Finally found good electricity to support our 4500w lighting setup.

At 5am, the coke froze and we where out of candy so we started our 2 hour drive and got home at 7am. This is not healthy.

Until next time.

Legendary 37 stepper.

Eiki and Halldor has been to town twice the last month. Our main rail for both trips has been the legendary 37 stepper. Every time we show up to it there is 3 giant dumpsters in the way. So lame. So today when we didn’t have a spot in mind I went over to the rail to check if the dumpsters were gone.. No… Hmm, I call up a friend who wants to be anonymous. Lets call him Martin. I ask him if he thinks its possible to move a dumpster with tons of crap in it with a car? - Yes! I had already given up when he showed up with a little rope and his car. BUT. My dear friend Martin moved that dumpster. Awesome.

Before  img_0081.gif Afterp1030537.jpgSuper stoked that this worked out because we got some really banger shots today. A lot of people have been hitting this rail before and almost all trick has been done (front board, sw frontboard, bs lip, sw bs lip, cab 270, bs 180 sw 5050, different presses etc) . Its really hard to come up with new tricks now but today we stepped it up a notch again, maybe even two!

More Swedish rails

Eiki and Halldor came up today to film some rails. When they come to film you have to buy a lot of Pepsi and candy to keep them going, if you provide them with sugar and burgers everything works out great.  If you dont, well… I dont wanna know.

We hooked up with Hampus and Jakob and went up to a local ski town to shoot this wooden rail. p1030510.jpgThe Crewp1030515.jpg O-Matic representp1030521.jpg

Everybody got shots so we where stoked driving home at 2am with the third burger of the day.

Going to this town east of Sweden tomorrow for some more rail sliding. We will keep you posted.

Weird jib and late nights.

Started scoaping at 1pm. Drove around for 6 hours and stopped for dinner. Started scoaping again, found a spot that we wanted to film on at 10pm. Dug, re-dug and re-dug our inrun for way too many hours. Started filming at 3am (at this time it started raining) and drove home from the spot at 7am in the morning. The spot was epic.

Beforep1030412.jpgAfter p1030440.jpg

We have been shooting photos with Onboard photographer Peter Lundström.  He has this crazy tow in machine that we used today. I have no idea how he built it but, you can go 45 miles/h on a flat surface. Gnarly stuff… p1030413.jpg

Mid Sweden Jump and Rail Mission.

Just got back from this resort in mid Sweden called Kläppen. Had an awesome stay since it snowed really hard every day. Pow and a great park, we even managed to find some urban stuff in the area. We had a short night session at this jump.  p1030343.jpgThe boys checking out some shots.p1030358.jpgMr. Mosesson digging the car out.p1030367.jpgSweet spot! Pow landing.p1030387.jpgThanks to the people  at Kläppen for help with the jump and lodging!
