Well, it´s almost been a year now since we posted this movie. We are happy to see that there is still over 100 people / day watching it!We have had some complaints about people who try to download it now and the mirrors don´t work. Sorry, but that hosting company sucked so we canceled that.If nobody is using the torrents i suggest you download Pony Tale from the following places (or watch it on Vimeo):

We have reached our goal that we set last year.

To make a free snowboard movie the way we wanted a snowboard movie to be. - No politics, just friends, fun snowboarding and to have a lot of fun during the process.

We have got more then 160 000 views of Pony Tale and our goal in the beginning was to get 100 000. (A normal snowboard movie sells between 5 000 - 20 000 copies and our budget was minimal.)

Actionhorse Films thanks all of you who has viewed the film and supported the project. There would not have been a movie without you guys!

Unfortunately we have decided not to make another snowboard movie and we don´t know when/if we will again.

This site will change form into something new soon so keep on checking back.

Yes, if you did not know it already, it is fake. If you thought it was real, I am happy you did. Arvid Niklasson contacted me and said that he had a good idea for the movie. Arvid is a Visual Effects artist / 3d genius and probably has a many more fancy titles. He wanted to make a some fake shots for the movie so I sent him footage that he could play around with, I did not really know what to expect but when I got the file back I was blown away. He just sent me this which I thought was really interesting. So much time goes into this. Snowboard Diaries: TV episode about the making of Pony Tale!

Friday productions followed us for a month to make a TV episode about the making of Pony Tale called Free Rein for their TV show called Snowboard Diaries. Snowboard Diaries aires Tuesdays at 8PM ET/PT at Fuel TV and will be available on hulu.com after the show has aired.

Snowboard Diaries fuses the basic human value of ‘the struggle’ with the sport of professional snowboarding. Friday Productions follows the world’s top riders as they spend the winter living out their lives competing in contests, filming their video parts, and riding epic backcountry terrain. Friday captured all the highs, lows, drama, despair, and triumphs to create “Snowboard Diaries.”

This weeks episode is about Eero Ettala´s rail filming missions in Finland. Upcoming shows covers how to make an independent snowboard film with Us, Kevin Pearce Competing season, Pat Moore in the Whistler BC and Mads Jonsson and the Hemsedal Session. Be sure to check this out!
